The hotel has an excellent location, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the rooms become very hot, especially during the summer months such as August. There is no air conditioning, only fans, which are not sufficient to keep the rooms cool. In addition, there is no refrigerator in the room, and the windows do not have insect screens. It would also be greatly appreciated if the hotel could offer complimentary late check-out for one or two hours, when possible, especially for guests with afternoon or evening flights. These improvements would make the overall guest experience much better. Service: 3

This place definitely grew on me as the stay progressed. There are some drawbacks to staying in an older less modern place: the floor is a bit worn in several places (though that could be because it's the pet friendly room and dogs may have stained it) and the elevator only goes to the second floor (I was on the 3rd) though the girl at the front willingly carried my heavy suitcase up the last flight for me. On the plus side, the beds go down to the floor so cats can't crawl under and if you have two twins you can pull them slightly apart so you can reach between and grab your cat if he goes between them. Also it was my only hotel without AC but the fan worked well and I was able to crack the door open (it opens two different ways so cracking open from the top being very wide to the bottom being closed kept my cat from going out) and night to cool the place down. Also it had a nice balcony to go onto AND no way for my cat to jump down and escape. I still kept him in at night in case he decided to try. There is a nice garden in front to walk your cat. Breakfast was decent with juice, water, multi coffee machine, cold cuts, cheese, breads, fruit, and hot eggs and meat (bacon I think). There was probably yogurt and cereal but I don't remember Despite the floor being worn, the room above the floor was nicely furnished and once I got over the elevator issue, the no AC, and the worn carpet I liked the place. It is a good pet friendly option in a very expensive town. Service: 5

Our stay at the hotel chalet Swiss was lovely. Evo was our hotel attendant and he was awesome. He provided us with clear instructions on how to move about the city and had great recommendations for activities while we were there. He was amazing and was so incredibly helpful. The hotel was close to the train station and to several chocolate shops. The only issue we ran into was that there was a window overlooking the other rooms adjacent to ours in our bathroom, and that was the only source of ventilation. There is no air conditioning at this spot so we had a bit of a soggy bathroom and we slept hot. Having the windows open at night helped but there was no bug screen either so we had to pick our battles on this one. Overall great experience and great service.
