Historic Cava di Fiume which has been active since the post-war period. The proximity of the Serio River, which is very rich in extractable material, would allow for a very interesting cultivation of the river bed itself which in this stretch has always created an elevated layer that begins in Malpaga and ends after Romano. Unfortunately, the water magistrate does not give the right permits that would help the river flow better and leave the water visible all year round while now, in lean times, it flows under the surface gravel.
