Non potuto visitare causa mancanza del numero minimo per la visita.Gradevolissimo aspetto della cinta esterna e, a detta dei pochi residenti, ben manutenuto e fornito di arredi. Ubicato su un cocuzzolo a un paio di chilometri dalla ben più nota abbazia della Scarzuola.i proprietari trascurano un po' il castello in quanto titolari anche di avviata enoteca e, dicono, produttori diretti di vino.

Gentile signor Feruccio, grazie per la sua recensione. Lavoriamo esclusivamente su prenotazione e in questi giorni siamo anche tutti impegnati con la vendemmia. Abbiamo parecchi visitatori durante l'anno ma per assicurare un esperienza di alto livello non facciamo visite ad hoc. Siamo spiacenti che lei pensa che il castello è trascurato perche abbiamo anche la nostra enoteca con facile accesso dalla strada publica, possiamo garantire che dopo tanti anni di restauri e un grande impegno quotidiano dal personale e i proprietari niente è trascurato. Speriamo da vedere lei in uno dei tanti occasioni durante l'anno dove abbiamo concerti, convegni o altre aperture straordinarie con libero accesso.

Visiting Castello di Montegiove for the castle tour and wine tasting was one of the most magical experiences of our trip. The drive through the countryside alone is beautiful, and arriving at the castle feels like stepping into a storybook. The castle itself is breathtaking. Walking through it and hearing about the history and restoration makes you appreciate the incredible care that has gone into preserving such a remarkable place. The owners, Lorenzo and Rikke, are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about sharing their home and its history. The wine tasting with Rebecca was fantastic—she is knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience both fun and informative. And the charcuterie spread served alongside the wines was incredible: generous, fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly paired with the tasting. Honestly, the value of this experience is almost unbelievable. They could easily charge several times what they currently do for a tour of this quality in such a spectacular setting. Between the stunning castle, the history, the wonderful hosts, the excellent wine, and the incredible food, this is absolutely worth going out of your way for. If you’re anywhere in the region, do not miss this experience. Service: 5
