Sono tornato per la seconda volta ma qualcosa è cambiato. Il servizio è stato veloce senza nessuna ampia informazione sui prodotti. Quello che più mi ha infastidito è stato il ripieno delle quesadillas di pollo che erano al quanto vuoti di carne e formaggio pieni solo di salse e condimento. Peccato. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 40–50

First of all, I have been a very loyal customer ever since Cartell opened in Basel (back when they still gave out nachos as a complement;)) and this place has been on top of my restaurant list for the past years. However, this time the food was extremely disappointing. How is it possible that in a quesadilla there’s minimal cheese? It was just super dry, almost burned tortilla; a thin cheese crust (no cheese filling), and a minimal amount of very dry meat. The tortillas were also filled to the absolute minimum. I know this is not the way how you prepare it because every time I had it before, it was with loads of cheese and meat, and in a softer tortilla. Absolutely delicious and very similar to the food I’ve had in Mexico. The prices are already really high and it would have been great to get the quality as well. I would really love if you listened to the feedback the guests are giving you. Because you’ve just lost one of your biggest fans. :(. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 50–60
