Qui per un pranzo di lavoro. Ho ordinato un hamburger con patatine e insalata. Hamburger un po' povero dal mio punto di vista, dato il prezzo 30 CHF. Servizio un po' lento, ma locale molto bello e caratteristico. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 50–60

We visited Capitol Restaurant & Bar on a rainy Ascension Day afternoon. The restaurant was open, and we entered and waited to be seated. A Chinese waitress asked if we had a reservation. We said no, and she replied in a rude tone that there was no place available and that we could sit only at the bar table. We agreed and started to sit there, but a Swiss staff member looked surprised and asked why we were sitting at the bar when there were several empty tables available. We explained what the waitress had told us, and he kindly said we could sit at one of the empty tables instead. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and questioned why we had sat there. After we explained that another staff member had directed us, she said we could stay only until 5:00 PM because the table was reserved. That was completely fine with us, as it was only around 3:50 PM. However, when she brought the menu, she gave us only the drinks menu and never asked whether we wanted to eat or just have drinks. At that point, we felt unwelcome and decided to leave. We then went to another restaurant nearby, where we were warmly welcomed and professionally served by a Swiss waitress who politely asked whether we would be dining or only having drinks. The difference in hospitality was very noticeable. Unfortunately, our experience at Capitol Restaurant & Bar was disappointing because of the poor and unfriendly service. Service: 1 Meal type: Dinner
