Ottima gelateria gestita da due fratelli veramente bravi, gelato buonissimo fatto con molta professionalità, prodotti di prima scelta e ottima qualità complimenti ancora!!!!

This ice cream parlor was only able to open a few weeks ago after some delays. We then tested the ice cream on the second evening of our vacation, which meant we came back on the 11 following evenings! Why? - There are a few reasons. First of all, Calypso has friendly employees who are happy to let you try ice cream. The boss, who makes the ice cream herself, is just as friendly and communicative. She is happy to answer any questions about her ice cream and doesn't reveal any secrets. You can watch her making ice cream in the morning through a kind of shop window. There are no flavor enhancers, flavorings or other additives in the ice cream. It was also explained to us that there is no banana ice cream at Calypso because fresh bananas brown quickly and the flavor doesn't come through well in the ice cream. Both can only be compensated for with appropriate additives. This makes you think when many other places in town always offer banana ice cream (sometimes in strong yellow tones) - even with a reference to "produzione artigianale". Our request for a specific, “missing” type of ice cream was also taken into account. The ice cream flavors also vary from day to day. Although there are always some standards - who wants to miss chocolate ice cream? What about the taste? You can argue about that - but for the six of us it was delicious! For those looking to save money, it should also be mentioned that the balls here are hardly inferior in size to footballs. Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration of course, but you can certainly understand what I'm getting at. There is also a kind of customer stamp card. After 15 scoops of ice cream you get 2 for free. The Calypso also offers breakfast. There are also granite and ice cream balls in brioches. Conclusion: If we come to Bibione again, we would definitely like to go to the Calypso.
