We had a fantastic experience ordering a birthday cake for my daughter at Cakefactory. After filling out the online contact form, Mrs. Salathe called back within the next day to discuss my wishes and provide me with design and taste suggestions and an approx. price range. When we ordered, she stayed in contact with me throughout to clarify any questions I might have. The result turned out to be perfect in terms of what we were looking for as well as taste. We'd definitely order from Cakefactory again for future occasions! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately, I can't review the cake, so it might taste great, but I wanted to post this in case someone is thinking about contacting this business. We wanted to order a birthday cake for our daughters birthday. We wanted a simple enough double tier cake with a couple cake toppers and provided examples of what we're generally looking for. Never were we told that this cake idea/example could be made for us but we were pressured to confirm the order for our cake. Not knowing what the cake will actually look like based off our example and no guidance on flavor or fillings possible, i was asking more questions about it to be able to confirm the order of the cake as soon as possible. Apparently I was asking too many questions as I was told I wasn't allowed to order anymore because the process took too long to decide on a cake. I agree it took too long, and feel my time was not valued either and questions remained constantly unanswered. I can't confirm an order for a cake i know nothing about and spend hundreds of franks on something i don't know will work for us. Again, cakes itself might be lovely but I've never had such an issue ordering cake and was treated pretty rudely for asking questions about a custom order cake. Wishing you all better luck managing this!
