This is mine and husbands second year on island Pasman, also the second trip this summer. Such an amazing place to be. We are delighted by everything here, especially the nature. Nautilus won our hearts with an amazing coffee (I ordered grande macchiato, it was the best coffee I had in long time) and unbelievable view, but there is one thing we notice during our first three visits in this bar...We should probably mind our own business but there is something that can't go unnoticed. When we first visited Nautilus, at the beginning of July, waitress gave us everything we asked for, but we did not get the receipt. However, table next to ours had one. We were quite confused but we checked the prices on the menu and, left the money onbthe table, paid for what we had. We thought that she forgot to brought it. Tomorrow day, we came again, and this time we were served by a girl with greasy hair (it's not nice to comment on someones look but she should definitely work on her hygiene), and this time we also did not got the receipt. We realized then that something fishy is happening here. Few nights later, there was an open air concert in Dobropoljana, many people were there, and this bar was full also. As I was standing in line for a ladies bathroom (which is next to the counter) I saw something very interesting. A guy, for who I assume that is local since he was talking in croatian with a waiter quite friendly, was paying for his drinks. He was told by a waiter the amount he had to pay (which was read from the piece of paper) and his money was put in one black wallet. Again, I haven't saw any receipts. Just a half minute later, a foreigner (I heard him speaking german) came to pay with receipts and his money was put in ANOTHER wallet by the SAME waiter. The place is nice and everything but we are quite suspicious about this whole thing with wallets and receipts. We don't know what is going on, just assuming that they're trying to avoid paying taxes or something, but it's a robbery of costumers in some way. We were here yesterday, and again, same thing happend. No receipt at all. But, we have to admit that they are not only one doing this thing because we also haven't received any receipts in De Loro Caffe in Pasman. We come from a different country and we understand that Croatia is struggling, we also believe that it has a huge potential, but definitely not in this way. We don't want to contact authorities, since we're not croatian citizens and don't know anything about this situation or croatian laws. But whatever it is, we doubt that any of this is legal. This made me so mad and disappointed, that I exclusively made an account to leave this comment. Such a shame.
