A hidden gem in Split! Delicious, hole-in-the-wall restaurant serving authentic , homemade Balkan cuisine made from fresh ingredients. You’d never expect to find such wonderful food and beautiful atmosphere next to a shopping center but this place is well worth the visit if you want to know what real Croatian cuisine and hospitality tastes and feels like. It’s well worth the uber from old town or quick 15 minute walk from znjan beach. The hostess and waiters are the kindest I’ve met in my 3 years in Split and it’s an open kitchen so if you’re lucky you may even get to talk to the chef ! Great wine list with affordable prices as well - a rarity these days in Split. Lots of great vegetarian options and they can accomodate to a wide range of dietary needs if you book in advance. Also, During the day, it’s a cafe with super fast wifi and plug in if you work remotely, so a great spot to make friends and get work done. I’ve lived in Split for 3 years and tried almost everything. So glad I found this place and hope others will too. It’s getting very popular, so strongly recommend reservations for dinner especially if you’re coming in summer. Not to be missed if you want to taste real Croatian food, and not just what the tourists get. Enjoy ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Great options, delicious risotto and parmigiana and cheese pie (if you’re vegan I recommend telling them in advance and they’re good about accommodating ) Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten-free, gluten, vegetarian and very conscientious and non-judgmental in general for whatever you need as long as you tell them in advance. I’ve brought a group here and they were superb about making sure everyone had food they’d enjoy and could eat .

Amazing coffee and authentic local dishes. The prices are low and the quality is double that of other place i’ve been in the country. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
