Vincent is a highly inventive chef with cuisine that is influenced by North African, Israeli, and Yemenite culture and spices. His dishes are exquisite, with large shareable portions, and he is very proactive in helping you order so that you don't over-order. This is a one-man show. He runs the place without any assistance so be prepared for slow dining. A typical dinner experience is three to four hours. When he's in the kitchen you serve yourself to water and wine. Just let him know at the end what you consumed. There is also freshly baked bread! Each meal is lovingly prepared with fresh local ingredients and the menu changes daily. In season, he serves game meat that was hunted in the surrounding mountains. It is essential that you make a reservation. No walk-ins accepted. It's also essential that you check the menu before you arrive. No substitutions and no complaining allowed. All the one-star reviews are from the complaining people who were appropriately asked to leave so the rest of us can enjoy our meal in peace. It's one of our favorite places in the valley. Vincent is a true original. Michelin should be here giving out stars. Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is down a flight of stairs but restaurant is accessible.

Our second visit this year. Vincent’s food is amazing and very varied. Certainly not your standard Swiss mountain fare and served with dry humour. Portions are generous - we shared 3 starters and 3 mains between 5 which makes it great value for the quality of the cooking. Well worth the journey.
