I'm genuinely pleased that so many are very satisfied. Unfortunately I can't give more than two stars. It's not just about the food, the service and the ambience. But in order for everything to be understood, I first have to talk about the food and everything surrounding it. Today I ate with my sister in the Schöntal restaurant. The start was good! We were given a nice spot on the terrace. I ordered the first of the three lunch menus and my sister ordered a salad. There were three people there who were serving and about 20 more people, almost all of whom had already eaten and were already eating dessert/coffee. It was around 1 p.m. The drinks came after 15 minutes. Mine was delivered incorrectly at first. After 45! Within minutes my lunch menu salad arrived and it also crackled as I ate it. I found tiny sand/stone particles. I showed this to a servant who told me that she would report it to the kitchen. My food arrived relatively shortly afterwards. Black Angus beef with potatoes and vegetables. Four forkfuls of overcooked and almost mush ratatouille vegetables and about five very small split fried potatoes. The boss? came and asked us if everything was okay. I told her that I would like to give her some feedback after dinner. No now, she said. ... With the two guests behind me, I said calmly: 1. We had to wait 45' for the food (the salad). Her answer: Everything is made fresh. 2. Somehow the worm is in there. Your answer: Then they are not our customers! 2. There are too few vegetables and potatoes on the plate (for this price). Her answer is something like: Nobody has said that before and we cook it all the time. ...Otherwise we can make more vegetables and potatoes. Now everything would have been said. But now a regular customer, who was sitting behind me, chimed in and asked us if we were being followed. Her husband ate the same thing and he had had enough. This is a very good quality restaurant and something like: We have no idea! She also said that we can eat at Migros and other “niceties”. The boss? reacted to what the regular customer said? not. ... When I was waiting at the outside entrance for my sister, who was still going to the toilet, I saw that the boss? to the regular customer’s table? and her husband? went. Both women were talking intensely to each other and kept pointing to the table where my sister and I had been sitting. I was able to follow the spectacle for several minutes. You didn't see me. ... I don't want to know what was said. What I ask of you: - If a customer gives feedback, please just listen, take what is said seriously and, ideally, seriously review it within the company and make changes if necessary. - Thank you for the feedback. - Do not tell a customer who gives feedback that is not acceptable: then they are not our customer! - If a customer “puts down” another customer or interferes unintentionally, please react. - Don't talk badly to a customer about another customer.
