Located on the Rte des Deux-Villages in Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz, the café de la place offers a charming stop for an aperitif on the terrace under the old plane trees, or a traditional meal in the dining room, but also the warmth and conviviality of 'a lunch at the foot of the counter. The welcome from Virginie, the lively and gracious hostess of this refuge, will fill you with smiles and kindness. The menu is creative and varied, providing everyone, even the most picky gourmets, with the fateful answer to the age-old question: “what am I going to eat today?”. But what I prefer is the simplicity of the dish of the day: the chef's imagination renews and stimulates curiosity and taste buds every day, offering at a very good price culinary journeys into the hinterlands of the Swiss valleys or the next day in exotic lands of my childhood dreams. The place is relaxing, pleasant The kitchen is good Prices are reasonable The warm and efficient welcome and service. You will have understood that it is a must.
