Lovely hut with enthusiastic, welcoming owners Philippe & Gégé. Philippe speaks English quite well. The atmosphere is great, with everyone having a toast together before dinner. Dinner portions are large, you can take as much as you want. We (a couple) were appointed a corner of the dormitory which we could close off with curtains, which was convenient. The hut is located in a beautiful valley with a herd of cows and a herd of sheep. Philippe and Gégé explained to us how to behave if the shepherd's dog(s) would come running towards us, which we appreciated. Practicalities: - Power sockets available just outside the dormitory - Payment with cash, or by card with 3% fee - Water is drinkable (and tastes a bit sweet/minty) - No shower available, but you can wash yourself with warm water at the sink (possible to close off the space with a curtain) - You can take your backpack into the dormitory (in some other huts, you had to keep your backpack in a storage room and only bring a basket with essentials to your bed) - It's possible to order a picknick lunch - Reservations by phone Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
