I prezzi vengono ritenuti abbordabili qui.

Last week, in what I would usually call a culinary emergency (read: nothing cooked at home), I found myselfe in the drive-through at Burger King Hinwil. Now, this is not something I do lightly. But every now and then, something unexpected happens. Let's start with a guilty pleasure: the Spicy Crispy chicken Wrap. Crisp, just the rightkick, and dangerously easy to come back for. It hits that exact spot when you need something fast but still satisfying. However, this post is not about fast food. It's about Francesco! The manager at BK Hinwil is something you don't expect to encounter in a drive-through: presence, warmth, and genuine care. Franceso doesn't just run the place, he elevates it. There is a calm, positive energy around him that transforms a simple stop into an experience. I feel seen, I feel welcomed, I leave with a smile! That is why I will be back. Not for the wrap (well,...maybe also for the wrap) but for Francesco. Becuase without him, it would just be another drive-through. With him, it has a soul (this reminds me of the slogan of a bank in Zurich that is now in liquidation -"banking with a soul". A powerful idea, but faded when C-level management started to get greedy, chasing only self profit and bonuses). Let's hope Burger King understands what they have here. Because people like Francesco are rare and they are the soul. Treat them right, and everything else follows. Gastronauta tip: If you want the smoothest drive-trough experience, aim for early in the window around 17:30 - 18.00. After 18:30, things tend to pick up, and the magic comes with a bit more waiting time. Choos moments, not meals! Gastronauta Selective Food Notes Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5
