Tre settimane fa siamo stati per la prima volta al bar panoramico che si trova su al castello.Siamo arrivati alle 17.25 e nonostante vi erano ancora persone sedute la cameriera senza nemmeno farci accomodare in modo arrogante e sgarbato ci ha chiesto cosa volevamo e che alle 18.00 avrebbero chiuso.Non ĆØ stato bello ,ci siamo sentiti non benvenuti. Peccato per una location cosƬ bella avere personale cosƬ sgarbato.Non torneremo mai piĆ¹.

Not just a meal. Itās an adventure. You can start your adventure either walking up the stairs of the old castle or taking the elevator from the cellar. Either way, youāre greeted by a welcoming staff and atmosphere. We were blessed to be greeted by Andrea Schnell who went the second and third mile to make our meal absolutely memorable. From offering the use of an umbrella so my wife and daughter didnāt have to get wet, to taking our pictures inside at the table and again outside overlooking the beautiful countryside. Even in the rain and at night the vista was stunning and wonāt soon be forgotten. Neither will be the meal nor the service provided by Andrea. We started our dining adventure with the bouillabaisse and an asparagus salad. Both were not only exquisite in their flavor profiles, but also in their appeal to the eyes and nose. For the main course, we had the Weiner schnitzel and salmon trout. Both did not disappoint. Again, both had a delicious flavor, an aromatic smell and an eye catching plating. They also both went well with the wine that Andrea recommended for us. We are truly grateful that we made the trip from Winterthur to Burg Hohenklingen. The drive through Stein am Rhein and the many little villages and forests along the way was wonderful, but was thoroughly surpassed by a most memorable evening at the Burg.
