I have been visiting Brioni Lobby Bar regularly for the past three years, ever since I moved to Pula, and unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. We only ordered a coffee and a tea, but the service we received was far below the standard expected from a five-star hotel. The waiter, Tamara, behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Instead of maintaining a polite and welcoming attitude, she acted overly familiar, as if we had known each other for years, which felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. Her tone was loud, at times almost shouting, and her overall communication lacked basic courtesy. It did not feel like we were being treated as guests. What was especially surprising was the way she responded when offered something as a gesture—her reply came across as rude and lacking basic etiquette. Good service is not only about taking orders, but about respect, professionalism, and knowing how to communicate with guests in a public setting. This kind of behavior would be unacceptable even in the most casual places, let alone in a hotel of this level. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, as staff behavior plays a key role in the overall experience. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
