I had an hour and 17 mins to kill whilst waiting for my train to Lugano (was en route to Milano). I had been in France for the Olympics and didn't realise that Switzerland isn't an EU member (silly me) so all I had was euros but was able to pay for my pretzels with my credit card which came to NZD14.56c. Was relieved that this kiosk accepted card payments as I had no cash on me let alone CHF! I was totally ready for breakfast by this point and was looking forward to trying freshly made pretzels. I ordered the standard one and an almond one. Both delicious! I would come back to this station just for the pretzels. There were also other goodies in the cabinet but I was too hungry to think about what else to get. They seemed quite busy too as it was early morning but staff were polite. Great location as you can step off your train and walk over to the kiosk and order yourself a fresh pretzel and a hot drink! I can see from new reviews they still do the same. Similar to the experience I had before wrong labels for items. They have no respect at all for people with dietary requirements. But rudeness is next level. Fix your attitude and be truthful about what you serve. Imagine you get vegan/vegetarian and then chomping on animals. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Dietary restrictions: Update: explains their attitude by not replying in english but for others in English. There was a group of us. So don't know which one you thought I am. When our second bunch of the group went there they had changed the labels because first group questioned them. So yes your store and your people sucks. They labeled pretzels as vegan hummus pretzel and vegan avacado pretzels but actually stocked with vegetarian options. When asked questions they were annoyed and didn't answer properly. Bought anyway as a tourist don't familiar with people here and their attitudes. After buying only realised that they were not vegan. Maybe try to be respectful for a person supporting your business who might have allergies or ethics that you are not familiar with or you don't align with. Or if it is so difficult to answer a question about the food you sell don't sell them at all just to trick people into buying something. Very disappointed as this is the first store I stepped into in Switzerland to buy something. Don't recommend this place as they don't respect people's dietary choices, just green washing and false advertising with vegan labels. Such arrogance in serving a customer, first time experience for me. Well maybe that's how Switzerland is.
