Uncomfortable chairs, plastic plants, smokers paradise and a service that manages to be slow, rude and dismissive. After waiting 20 minutes for two beers, and getting splashed by the waiter when setting them in the table, the experience was not a positive one. Of course since this is 100% a tourist trap, they hit you with a mandatory tip screen (you need to find the small “no tip” button). Let me say this for all our visiting friends. THERE ARE NO TIPPING IN SWITZERLAND! Do not tip unless service is EXCEPTIONAL. The waiters are French people who get pay 5x their homeland salaries, they make BANK, they don’t need your TIP. The best thing about the restaurant is the seating, as it is lovely and calm by the river. As for the food, it is very ordinary and not worth the high price. Even the service was slow and unprofessional. We asked one of the staff if we could sit at a specific table we chose, and he allowed us. However, another waiter came and said that the table was set for four people and only for dining. His attitude was not good, but we still sat at the table we had chosen. His behavior made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
