Se per caso sei nei paraggi della Korcula Old City, puoi fermarti in questo ristorante. Ordinare qui le curatissime spigola, tartare e zuppa di gamberi è davvero un'ottima idea. Gli ospiti vengono al ristorante Restaurant Largo per bere dei deliziosi vino bianco o birra. Bevi il fantastico caffè che offrono qui.
Parecchi ospiti sottolineano che i camerieri sono piacevoli in questo locale. Rimarrai sicuramente contento dello spettacolare servizio. The menu had some tourist pizza photos on the front so we didn't expect to eat anything special. But the food exceeded our expectations ! We had excellent homemade pasta and an incredibly tasty black risotto. Really worth it! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We dined here on August 3rd and, unfortunately, were very disappointed with the overall experience. The view is beautiful and initially drew us in, along with the promise of mussels, which we had specifically been searching for. However, the mussels were served covered in seaweed something I’ve never encountered before and when I ate them, I discovered bits of what felt like glass, which I accidentally swallowed. Upon closer inspection, we noticed other pieces of sharp shell and glass-fragments embedded in the seaweed on several of the mussels. We also ordered the shrimp salad, which was unexpectedly served hot, both the shrimp and the lettuce making it quite unpleasant. When we brought the issue with the mussels to our server’s attention, he was very apologetic and kindly offered us something on the house, which we appreciated. That said, I ended up with cuts on my tongue and a concerning sensation in my throat that hasn’t gone away. We only ate a couple of bites of the salad also because I can’t really eat right now and when we asked for the bill, we requested that both the mussels and the salad be removed (of course we were happy to pay for our drinks). While the mussels were removed from the bill, the salad was not we were told it’s meant to be served warm and that we should have asked beforehand As someone who works in the industry, I would have expected a more serious response to someone reporting that they may have ingested glass. We didn’t want to argue, so we paid and left but I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you choose to dine here, proceed with caution. Your next visit might be to the doctor. RESPONSE TO OWNERS: Dear Restaurant Largo, Thank you for your response, but I feel I need to clarify the situation further. The issue was not with the mussel shell itself the sharp object was embedded in the seaweed that the mussels were covered in. This seaweed, most likely part of the broth or wrapped up during cooking, contained what appeared to be a piece of glass. I physically felt it while chewing, spat it out, and could clearly see it afterward. It also left visible cuts on my tongue. Additionally, I’m confused as to why the mussels were served covered in seaweed in the first place. In most professional kitchens, mussels are thoroughly cleaned before cooking seaweed can contain everything from microplastics and sand to bacteria and shell fragments. It’s not something I’d expect to see clinging to the dish in a reputable restaurant. To make matters worse, this was the only food I had eaten that day, and I’m now experiencing symptoms of food poisoning. I’ve spent the entire day of my vacation sick indoors, which is incredibly disappointing. While I appreciate the kindness of your staff, I hope this feedback is taken seriously. I encourage you to review your preparation practices and suppliers no guest should have to question the safety of what’s being served Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €45–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Poštovani, Izuzetno nam je žao, ali se moramo osvrnuti na žalbu koju ste napisali. Konobari su se potrudili da imate što bolji tretman kao naši uvaženi gosti, a za primjedbu koju ste dali ne želimo i ne možemo drugačije reagirati već samo ljubaznošću. Naime, u našoj kuhinji se ne koristi niti jedan stakleni predmet, pa smo provjerili juhu u kojoj se kuhaju školjke koje su prije kuhanja zatvorene- točnije pri termo obradi se otvaraju same Kako nije bilo stakla, kontaktirali smo dobavljača te je potvrdio da je nemoguće na način koji ste opisali da je staklo u pitanju već kako se često dogadja da pri mehaničkom otvaranju školjke bude polomljen vrh školjke koji može davati utisak koji ste imali u tom momentu Nama je zaista iskreno žao zbog osjećaja koji ste doživjeli i ovom prilikom se izvinjavamo, ali staklo ne možemo prihvatiti kao opciju u školjkama. Što se tiče salate koju ste spomenili, mi nemamo naznačeno u menu-u Jel se služi hladna ili topla, pa smatramo da ne može biti naša greška već prihvatamo svakako da se Vama nije dopala i ubuduće ćemo raditi na usavršavanju ponude Zahvaljujemo na razumijevanju te Vas očekujemo da nam ponovno budete gosti i popravimo Vaš utisak Restoran Largo
