I wanted to eat something here, because the bistro was near my accommodation and I didn't feel like going down to the seafront (where there are more restaurants). Indeed, it was 2:30 PM, there was no one at the tables, and the staff was a bit bored/tired (...it was also hot outside, understandable) While I greeted with "Hello", the waitress went to get the menu, and when she heard "Hello" she rolled her eyes and went back for the "other" menu. I immediately ordered something to drink, a juice and a coffee, and wanted to look at the menu what to have for lunch. The waitress came back immediately and told me that the coffee machine would take about 10 more minutes, if I wanted to wait. At first I said I'd wait, then when I saw that it didn't suit her, I said I'd better leave, because I was really bothering them somehow... I told her that, in fact, I didn't want anything anymore, that I was going somewhere else... and I apologized for bothering they. too bad, ...in some places in Croatia, you still feel like you're in the 70s... but with the clientele there, it's no wonder.... .maybe they behave differently with the house's customers...

Service was great, food was excellent. If your are looking for quiet place that’s has great music, Dalmatia vibe and tasty food you have to visit this place. If you are wondering where you should go for the meal, just go to the Bistro Putnik it won’t disappoint you. 11/10. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
