Very nice family-run mountain inn outside of Brixen. Outstanding breakfast. Very nice hosts and the view!! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Great value

We, a family with a 12-year-old daughter, had a really great stay (2 nights) at the Plonerhof - and would like to share this experience here and absolutely recommend it! The guests - especially Elmar - are very, very (child) friendly - helpful - unobtrusive - caring and responsible - we felt very, very comfortable with them. Rooms: Large, clean... good beds... very large balcony with a great view of the Dolomites. Nearby activities: Nature, animals, forest, meadows, mountains... hiking... what more could you want! We also really liked the swimming pool in Brixen! A very beautiful city too - Brixen! Walkability: A bit out of the way - we don't have a car - but from the bus (end) stop the farm can be reached in about 15-20 minutes via the road or through the forest (uphill) - we thought that was great. And on the day of departure - early in the morning we had a super friendly taxi to the train station in Brixen. Food & drinks: The dinner (3 courses) and breakfast (half board) are absolutely worth mentioning - because they are individual - home-cooked - varied - organic - refined - super tasty - a very pleasant change from the "usual" hearty "mountain food", although also local here. A great and conscious (local) wine selection! Noteworthy details: A small family business - perhaps a bit outdated - but it is precisely because of this and the innkeepers that they are so endearing and personal - really! Our daughter immediately fell in love with the two super lovely dogs on the farm!!! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
