We recently had the pleasure of dining at a this vegan restaurant in Appenzell, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The dinner was a surprise menu consisting of four courses: an appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert, all complemented by refreshing infused water included in the meal. The food was delicious, with seasonal and organic vegetables in every dish. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you are vegan or simply appreciate high-quality, health-conscious cuisine, this restaurant is an excellent choice in Appenzell. Highly recommended! Service: 5

The food was absolutely fabulous! Food was culinary art and the service was absolutely amazing. Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and a great atmosphere - just perfection! I certainly recommend it! Service: 5

I have to say that I have experienced a lot in my life, but I haven't eaten such great and varied food as at Hotel Sonnenberg in a long time. And on top of that, everything is completely vegan! Even in combination with the fact that everything is healthy (no sugar, no artificial substances, etc.). In one word, DELICIOUS. I would definitely go back again. Service: 5
