We had made a reservation and wanted to enjoy the beautiful view while eating, but instead of a panorama over the sea of fog and the Alpine chain, there was a large marquee directly in front of the large panoramic windows that covered the entire width of the windows and was at a height so that a blue strip of light from the sky was just visible was! We felt like we were in a basement with skylights and not a word about it when we made the reservation! The panoramic windows with the sheets of the marquee in front of them could have at least been covered/hidden with nice curtains to at least bring some ambience into the dark hall with artificial light, but despite the high prices there is apparently not enough money or the sensitivity for a cozy ambience. As an apology and answer, the waitress and the boss said - you could go outside and enjoy the view - well and take plates etc. with you at around -5 ° C!? At least there was a coffee from the house as compensation. Otherwise the food and service was good.. Parking: The drive to the Rye was chaos because a driver (LU) thought she had to drive up to a mountain restaurant in a 2x4 (without snow chains) in winter and 20 cm of snow and then stopped in the middle of the road, causing a huge traffic jam instead of making room so that at least those with a 4x4 or snow chains could drive past. It actually took several people to convince the woman that she just needed to make room and let the car roll back (downward) onto its side. If it's snowing, a sign saying "only with 4x4 or snow chains" would be the minimum. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
