After a long and breathtaking hike during summer of 2023, I arrived at this beautiful destination. I only had time to enjoy a delicious dinner, and then hike back into town. My meal was absolutely phenomenal, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I hope to be able to visit again in the future and spend the night. Service: 5

Kitchen was closed so we settled for a cold spread: Anti-Pasti plate (vegetarian) with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, cheese (goat and Appenzeller). And my favorite drink, Huuskaffee . Perfecto!

Scenic alpine hut with breathtaking views, the only one on lake Fällensee. Exceptionally polite staff and that rustic old alpine feel throughout the whole place. Real mountain breakfast with a view of the peaks, cows roaming around. Be advised that this hut has only footpaths leading up it, around 3 hours by foot from the nearest parking in Brüllisau. Service: 5
