Hotel pulito e con camera molto spaziosa. Alla reception ti danno una cartina della città e biglietto giornaliero per i mezzi di trasporto gratis.

L'hotel è molto anni '80, moquette e mobili datati. Le camere sono ampie e il bagno era enorme. La receptionist gentile ma poco efficiente, si è dimenticata di darci il telecomando dell'aria condizionata e abbiamo dovuto dormire con finestre spalancate, al primo piano.....scarse spiegazioni in generale, anche se ci sono poi cartelli ovunque. Dignitoso alloggio per poche notti. La zona non è vicina al lago né al centro.

Disappointing and Unhelpful Service — Not Recommended for International Travelers My experience at Hotel Bellerive was unfortunately quite disappointing, especially considering the difficult situation I was in as a traveler who had just lost his passport and belongings in Lausanne. From the very beginning, the reception staff—particularly the lady on duty—was cold, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful. When I asked for guidance on paying the city tax (given my cards and cash were stolen), she offered no assistance and told me to “go back to Lausanne and figure it out” rather than helping me navigate an alternative solution. I eventually managed to pay manually using a credit card method that she could have easily suggested. When I asked if the hotel had a mobile charger I could borrow for even a few minutes—something that many hotels are happy to help with—she simply shrugged and told me to find one outside. This was at a moment when I was in genuine need. To make matters worse, she didn’t inform me about the free Lausanne Transport Card, which every guest is entitled to. I only learned about it when I read the hotel manual inside my room The room had no telephone, which was odd for a hotel in this category. When I went to use the phone at the reception, she replied sarcastically, “Just like you would use any normal phone,” despite the fact that the device was not working properly. Overall, the lack of empathy, hospitality, and basic helpfulness—especially toward a guest in distress—was deeply disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel to international travelers, particularly those unfamiliar with the local system and who might need even minimal support. Service: 1
