Bellaugello is a magical place that we have had the privilege to know over several years and visits. The stunning beauty of the Umbrian rolling hills and valleys, the exquisite landscape of lavender and rosemary, the early morning fog, rain if we’re lucky, feeds the soul. The infinity pool to soak and gaze at the natural wonder is devine. The place is timeless. The suites are beautiful, unique, and well equipped for the stay. Jochen and Kai are the most wonderful hosts who we first met as fellow guests. They have nurtured and built upon the spirit of Bellaugello, and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The morning breakfasts are delicious, the weekly dinners are always fun, and they are always quick to offer suggestions for your itinerary or to make dinner reservations at the many wonderful restaurants in nearby Gubbio. In addition to the wonderful place and the incredible hospitality, we have met the most amazing people from around the world who we are proud to call friends. We are so grateful to have found Bellaugello and look forward to our next stay.

Peace, quiet and an incredibly beautiful panorama - an insider tip for anyone who wants to relax. Very nice, friendly and helpful hosts try to fulfill every wish. The occasional sociable dinners round off the vacation enjoyment. We always enjoy coming back and the days just fly by

While browsing online, we came across this little slice of paradise in the heart of Umbria, just a stone’s throw from Gubbio, a stunning medieval village. From the photos and reviews, we already knew it would be a dream getaway – but the reality was even more enchanting than we imagined. What truly won us over was the kindness of the hosts and the quality of the guests: it’s easy to connect with others and form genuine friendships. The location is secluded and offers the peace and privacy promised, yet you're only a short drive away from everything beautiful Umbria has to offer. Not far from the property, you'll find magnificent Perugia and Assisi, as well as the already mentioned Gubbio. And since you'll have a kitchen in your beautiful apartment, it’s worth knowing that just 15 minutes away by car there’s a very well-stocked Conad supermarket where you can find plenty of local products for a magical sunset dinner. We’ll definitely be back!
