We travel to Ischia every year and recently discovered the newly opened Beef Bar Luamé in Forio. Situated right on the port across from the public parking lot and cab stand, the restaurant sources its beef from all over the world, and the staff is very knowledgeable about their high-quality products. Our waiter recommended an excellent bottle of Ischia red wine that perfectly complemented all three courses of our dinner. We began with an antipasto of freshly sliced cured meats and cheeses, along with a beef tartare. For the middle course, we shared the tricolor gnocchi, which were exceptionally soft and accompanied by a perfect pomodoro sauce, fresh pesto, and melted cheese. For the main course, we enjoyed an American Wagyu New York Strip and a Northern Italian Tomahawk Chop. Both were seared and cooked to a perfect medium rare. If you visit Ischia or reside there, this place is a must-try. The service is prompt, even during the peak tourism season in summer. Outdoor dining was comfortable, offering a pleasant view of the port of Forio and passersby. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
