I arrived at the bar around 3:00 PM and placed a fairly large order of drinks throughout the afternoon. The day before, I had been told that the kitchen was open until 6:00 PM, so at around 5:45 PM we sat down with the intention of ordering pizzas. Unfortunately, no waitress came to our table for almost 10 minutes. By the time she finally arrived, it was around 5:55 PM, and she told us that it was no longer possible to order pizzas because they had already stopped making them. I find this unacceptable because we were seated before 6:00 PM, and if we had been served promptly, our order could have been placed without any issue. We were then told to go upstairs to the restaurant and place a takeaway order instead. However, when we got there, we were told that they do not make pizzas upstairs and that pizzas are only prepared downstairs at the bar. We then had to go back downstairs, where we were told the exact opposite. Because of the obvious lack of communication between the staff, we were sent back and forth several times without anyone taking responsibility or offering a proper solution. What disappointed me the most was the attitude of one of the employees upstairs. She was rude, dismissive, and showed no willingness to help resolve the situation. Instead of trying to find a solution, she simply brushed us off in a very unprofessional manner. Another issue was that none of the staff spoke Croatian, so I had to communicate in English the entire time and effectively act as a translator between employees who were giving us completely contradictory information. In a tourist venue this may happen, but I still expect staff members to communicate properly with one another. In the end, we ordered four cheeseburgers instead of the pizzas we originally wanted, but the entire experience left a very negative impression. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but what matters is how they are handled and how customers are treated. Unfortunately, due to the poor organization, lack of communication, and the unprofessional attitude of part of the staff, this was a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this place. We have been coming here for years, almost every day, and until now we have never experienced this kind of treatment. That is exactly why this experience was so disappointing.
