the burger was cold, the salmon salad was not worth 13 euros, the fish in the salad was very dry, they didn't bring the juice we ordered, they didn't give us water with our coffee. the restaurant design is nice and pleasant, but the food is 5 out of 10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Such a great place to dine in. Me and my friends used to eat in Batak in Zagreb quite often during my student days and I was happy to find out they opened a place in Split. Went there yesterday with my friends and the atmosphere was so nice, great selection of music, chill and not too loud, just perfect so you can actually have a conversation with people at your table and relax. All staff were professional and very attentive. Special thanks to Eni, if I remember her name correctly, she was so kind and friendly with our baby and even gave her a little gift that she loves to play with. Their meat dishes are superb, no matter what you pick from the menu you can't miss, I find it amazing that in all those years their food stayed top notch quality and consistent. Prices are decent. In a nutshell, amazing food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff, absolutely recommend it! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We've visited Batak twice this month and were generally happy, but it's not a 5/5 due to a few issues. Some of the food was overcooked, though the taste was still pretty good. Prices are higher, and portions seem smaller than in Batak restaurants in Zagreb. Charging €1.80 for Ajvar is a bit much. That said, the interior decor is amazing, and I really like the atmosphere. The waiters are friendly, but they push upselling a bit too much. Overall, it's a good place, and I hope to give it 5 stars in the future with some improvements.
