Avete mai pagato per n bicchiere di acqua calda un euro e cinquanta centesimi? È quanto succede al caffè maestri comacini nei pressi della basilica di S. Francesco ad Assisi, questo esercizio commerciale è vergognoso per la città di Assisi e i suoi abitanti

My recent visit to Bar Maestri Comacini was a real disaster, so much so that I strongly recommend avoiding it. In addition to all the problems read in other reviews, I would like to add further details that make the experience even more negative. First of all, I realized that the prices displayed did not correspond to those actually charged. I was disconcerted when I was presented with amounts higher than what was stated on the menu. This non-transparent and unprofessional attitude is unacceptable. Furthermore, I had a highly frustrating experience when I tried to pay with the POS. The staff initially said that they could not accept it because they had made the receipt for the cash payment (which is not true, because the receipt is unique.) The price of the coffee was simply disproportionate. I found myself paying an exorbitant amount for a drink of mediocre quality. This was a clear attempt to exploit tourists, and such an unfair business practice cannot be tolerated. Ultimately, this place represents an experience to be forgotten as soon as possible. With unjustified prices, lack of payment options and grumpy staff, it's a place to absolutely avoid. I recommend looking for more reliable and welcoming alternatives in the area.
