I booked this hostel for one night as a solo female traveller. There isn't a reception desk, but they replied very quickly on WhatsApp. I chose this place because of the price (€30 per night) and also because I wanted a different kind of experience. I expected it to be much worse. Considering it's in a Balkan capital city, I was actually quite satisfied. The bed was comfortable, the night was quiet, and the toilets were clean. I recommend bringing your own toilet paper and, most importantly, your own towel. The least pleasant experience was going to the toilet during the night. The men's and women's toilets are not sepsrated completly, and I could hear someone in the next stall making some Godzilla I didn't have breakfast, and I didn't use the restaurant because it was closed. The hostel was almost full in the middle of July. It's true that the security isn't ideal. The entrance door is only secured with a chain, so it can be partially opened, and the window doesn't have a lock at all. I think the owner should definitely fix this. I'm used to sleeping in a tent while travelling around the world, so I'm not overly demanding. However, I have to admit that if I hadn't had other guests around, I would have felt a bit unsafe because of the poor locks. Service: 4

It was a very unique experience. Although I've taken sleeper trains before, this was my first time staying in a hostel. I even had a strange worry that I'd wake up in another country the next morning. Each room had air conditioning, which was very comfortable in the hot summer. While the experience was special, as an accommodation, it lacked some essential amenities. For example, there was no kettle, so I couldn't make coffee for breakfast. Also, hygiene was an issue, especially in the bathroom, which was quite poorly maintained. Service: 4
