We ate here at the sublevel of Globus several times before. Not long ago there was a change though: Balik Kitchen took over, before it was run directly by Globus itself. The change also changed the appearance. Looks a bit more upscale and also classier than before. It's a nice spot to sit down (in the middle of the food market). There's a bar and several tables. The menu changed as well. Balik produces a number of really fantastic salmon here in Switzerland. Grade-A, high quality salmon. Perfection. We bought that salmon several times before. Ranges from 50.- up to way over 100.-. But it's worth it. Perfection. There are also some "Flammkuchen" (tarte flambée) on the menu, oysters (not every day) and different kinds of caviar. And also beef Tatar and some other items. Prices may be a bit on the higher side, but totally fine for the quality served. We chose the salmon sashimi and the beef Tatar with caviar. Both fantastic dishes. The salmon - as said - absolute perfection. Tatar was nice, juicy and very tasty. Perfect with the caviar on top. And as a combination very fair priced. Almost a bargain. Had a bottle of Pouilly-Fumé with that. Fresh, crisp and fruity wine. Went well with both dishes. There are other nice wine and champagne options on the menu. Staff/service was great. Very friendly, attentive and professional. Surely a great spot to enjoy some salmon, caviar and a few drinks here in Globus. Great place and we will definitely be back.
