My experience at Bai Wei Sushi in Vibo Valentia was extremely disappointing. I can only express my dissatisfaction with the quality of the food and the service offered. First, the quality of the food was terrible. The first courses seemed to contain more onion than fish, and the quality of the rice was disastrous. It almost felt like chewing chewing gum, the consistency was so sticky and unpleasant. This definitely ruined the whole dining experience. Furthermore, the tablet ordering system was extremely frustrating. I was forced to order a maximum of 5 dishes per person in just 10 minutes of time. This was really disconcerting, especially considering I was a new customer and didn't even know the menu. We had to ask the nearest waiter for help to crack the tablet (since it also closed on its own), which made the experience even more frustrating. It is absurd to require guests to order quickly and under such a strict time limit. Furthermore, the following day I had stomach problems, probably due to the hasty preparation of the starters. They looked like they were only cooked on one side and were not cooked well underneath. Additionally, the staff seemed to have difficulty communicating in correct Italian, which made it difficult to express our requests and complaints. I don't think we will definitely return to Bai Wei Sushi. The experience was disappointing both from a culinary and service point of view, and left us with a very bad memory. There are clearly superior sushi in the areas in terms of quality and flavors and especially service. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
