A pleasant restaurant situated in the historic Roman amphitheater at the heart of Lucca. The walls are lined with bottles of wine and olive oil giving it a cosy feel. We had a starters of Burrata with truffle and Burrata with pesto and sun dried tomatoes. Both were delicious. I had the veal cheek with puréed potatoes which was melt in the mouth and very savoury. My friends had the veal tongue which I tried and was extremely good, and the Tordelli al Ragu which was so good, I'm really not sure which dish I preferred! For pudding I had Torta Lucchese it was an eye opener as I'm not sure what I expected it to be like. It was light and floral a nice end to the meal. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a great meal here as a family of 5. The kids were well looked after- so were we with delicious wine, bruschetta, pasta, pizza and salad. Great place for lunch, beautiful service- thank you! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to Baffardello Bistrot to have an aperitif with some friends, I found the staff very kind and really helpful. The restaurant offers a wide choice of appetizers and excellent crostini to accompany a good wine, a prosecco or a drink, with valid alternatives for people who are lactose intolerant. The location is perfect, the restaurant is located in the historic center of Lucca and overlooks the most characteristic square of the city. Highly recommended!!!
