It was with great regret that we learned from your lines that we apparently were not able to fully live up to the extremely high standards we set for ourselves. In order to be able to be at the forefront of the Swiss hotel industry with our hotel as a landmark and our outstanding service, there is no question that we have to work carefully on every detail. As you probably didn't miss, both of our restaurants were fully booked to the last seat. We would have been very happy if you had announced your additional guests at least one day in advance, as is usual in a restaurant. Unfortunately and due to the booking situation, we were no longer able to fulfill your request to extend your initial reservation on the same day. Several colleagues also tried to explain the situation to you, which we obviously failed to do. Accordingly, we cannot in any way understand your subjective assessment of the friendliness of our service manager, as we have lived our extremely warm hospitality - fresh, friendly service on an equal level with our guests - since the very beginning and have thus been able to delight the vast majority of our guests.
