A nice new bakery/café in the center of Basel. The food is good, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and there was plenty of seating on the first floor. I found the choice a bit limited but everything looked tasty and i enjoyed my sandwich. There are self payment systems available but you can also pay over the counter and i found the staff friendly and helpful. Ideal if you're in a hurry or need a quick snack in town. Self service bakery / cafeteria. Call me old fashionable but I spent more time trying to work out the coffee machine, and still didn't get what I wanted. They have bakery items, my favorite was the cheese croissant, I found it went well with the dispenser macchiato coffee. Somehow the chocolate and the cheese blended well. Sandwiches other lunch products on offer. There are some tables outside, just be careful as some are not as straight and like the Americans next table along going out, their coffee just went all over the table. Despite the rain, we enjoyed our visit here Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
