Panorama-Restaurant Bachtel Kulm is a wonderful mountaintop restaurant right at the summit of the Bachtel (1,115m) ā serving delicious homemade cakes, sundaes and quality coffee on a stunning sun terrace with jaw-dropping panoramic views over lakes, hills and the mighty Alps! ļø The Terrace & View As seen in the photos, the sun terrace is simply spectacular ā rustic wooden tables dressed in charming red-and-white checked cloths, shaded by parasols and framed by vibrant pink geraniums and a Swiss flag! Beyond the railing, the view is breathtaking: the shimmering ZĆ¼richsee (and Obersee) stretching into the distance, layers of rolling green hills, and a magnificent wall of snow-capped Alps on the horizon under a brilliant blue sky! ļø It's the perfect reward after the hike up ā a truly idyllic spot to relax and soak it all in! The Food & Treats As seen in the photos, the sweet treats are absolutely gorgeous: Homemade cake ā a beautiful slice dusted with icing sugar, served on an elegant black slate-style plate with fresh cream, a physalis, a crisp wafer roll and a dollop of berry-studded whipped cream! Coupe / Sundae ā a stunning glass piled high with ice cream, vermicelles (chestnut purĆ©e!), fluffy whipped cream, fresh blueberries, raspberries, a physalis and a crunchy wafer roll ā pure indulgence! As seen in the photos, the coffee is served with lovely attention to detail ā a proper CafĆ© CrĆØme with a little cream capsule, a Swiss Wernli biscuit and a glass of water on the side. The signature "Bachtel Kulm" black napkin (complete with the tower logo!) is a charming touch!
