Peccato, peccato perché il cameriere davvero bravissimo, ci hanno aspettato davvero bene e anche gli antipasti erano buoni, ma tutto troppo costoso, ma d’altronde in Davos non ti puoi aspettare di più, ma almeno le porzioni!!! Ho ordinato del Branzino (pagato 40.-) e ho ricevuto questo piatto dove il limone era addirittura più grande. Desolato davvero molto deluso, e ancora affamato ho preso pure il dessert, aspettandomi magari un po di più e invece no, le palline di gelato erano quanto dei chicchi di uva. Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

All’interno dell’hotel Ameron di Davos c’è un ristorante molto grande e accogliente, Bacio della Mamma. Sono stata lì a cena diverse volte, mi sono piaciuti molto gli antipasti proposti ed i contorni che hanno portato per i secondi. La carne era cotta perfettamente. Ottima anche la scelta dei vini ed il personale è gentile e disponibile.

We booked a Halbpension in the hotel. It was not up to our expectations. We came at 8pm, got a small salad first, main course came at 9pm we were starving already. They forgot to ask us whether we want soup or dessert so we got dessert after that. It was not good, with liquor and raw eggs, not for everyone, but it was obviously clear from the menu and no one asked us. We canceled the Halbpension for the rest of the day. Another strange detail is that they didn’t want to give us a table next to window because they were booked. As if our table was not booked? It seems to be an example of what happens if you have no competition. Breakfast, lunch for conferences, dinner for Halbpension – no pressure for the restaurant to actually keep the bar high. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 70–80 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I am sorry that your half‑board dinner did not meet your expectations, in particular due to the long waiting time and the way the menu sequence and dessert were handled. This is not the standard of service we aim to deliver. Also regarding the table allocation by the window, I regret that our communication gave you the feeling that your reservation was not equally valued. Allow me to comment on your remark about competition: we certainly do not see ourselves as being “without competition”. Quite the opposite – we set high expectations for ourselves and are committed to constantly improving and offering a great experience, whether for half‑board, à la carte guests or for banquets and groups. We take your feedback seriously and will discuss it with the team to sharpen our processes and attentiveness.
