Premetto che sto scrivendo questa recensione a distanza di un anno perché mi è apparsa la foto nei ricordi di Google foto... Purtroppo il ricordo non è piacevole perché il mio hamburger al piatto era bruciato! Quella sera non ho detto niente perché l'attesa era stata lunga e avevo fame, però ho dovuto scartare tutta la parte esterna. A mio parere un hamburger così non avreste dovuto servirlo! Inoltre ho assaggiato anche il panino di mia figlia e del mio compagno e la carne era secca. Avevamo preso anche i fritti di pulled pork ma non ci sono piaciuti per niente, credo fossero surgelati. Solo le birre erano buone. Non credo tornerò più anche perché ogni volta che ci passo davanti ricordo quello spiacevole hamburger pagato anche caro...Spero per loro che nel frattempo abbiamo cambiato cuoco. Purtroppo a distanza di un anno ci risulta difficile tenere memoria di questo evento.Ovviamente consigliamo caldamente in futuro di farlo presente in diretta per darci modo di prendere visione ed eventualmente rimediare.Non ricordiamo se la richiesta fosse per una carne ben cotta o qualsiasi altra situazione che possa aver portato a questa cottura.Non escludiamo neanche di averglielo sostituito, come nostra abitudine in questi casi (oppure rimosso dal conto), perché passato troppo tempo.Siamo aperti tutte le sere da 8 anni, può venire a verificare personalmente quali sono i nostri standard, che tipo di cura mettiamo nel servizio e come agiamo davanti a nostre mancanze. PS le patatine come anche i fritti sono congelati, non lo nascondiamo, anzi anche i nostri hamburger artigianali sono abbattuti appena fatti per questioni di conservazione, qualità ed igiene.Siamo molto fieri della nostra linea del freddo.Augurarsi che una persona (per un eventuale errore isolato), abbia perso il posto di lavoro, ci sembra abbastanza infantile.Il nostro staff è molto preparato ed eventuali errori possono capitare, scrivere una recensione di questo tipo un anno dopo non trova molto senso a nostro parere. Ribadiamo il consiglio di confrontarsi in diretta, lo troviamo più costruttivo se il fine è nobile. Cheers!

This is an open letter to the owners (in place of a review) of B CORNER - BEST BEER & BURGER HOUSE, Pescara - ... Having heard the reputation of this restaurant, as burger aficionados, we were there to try out everything we could, and enjoy the variety of styles and tastes that were offered. So, in addition to burgers, we planned to order a wide variety of sides – just have a fun experience. Last week’s experience at this establishment was terrible. The bottom line is that your server has no idea of quality service. A nice enough fellow with zero training, and also no common sense. It began with making a reservation for 4 at 7:30 pm. On arrival, one of the people in my party told the server who we were, and also told him that we brought their 3-year-old along, so we needed a table for 5. Incredibly, the server’s response was to pick up the reservation form and argue that the reservation was for 4! He argued with her! (I am still shaking my head over that one.) Anyhow, at that hour, the restaurant had 3 other tables with guests, leaving a dozen vacant. The server chose to put us into the only corner table there, where the 4th chair is locked in (seated person can’t get out without others getting up and moving out of the way). And, when ordering, the seated guest cannot talk directly to the server, cannot be served his own platter, (has to be handed over by other guests), and also the server can’t clear used dishes. This was the worst possible table to seat a party when there were 10 other tables available at that moment! As with most other restaurants, the menu is online. We are all English-speakers, so we asked for a paper menu, and he brought one – for a table of 5! And it runs 5 pages! The server repeatedly asked for our orders, even after I told him directly to slow down and let us read the menu. He kept returning and insisting that he take our orders. (He never did figure out that we wanted more time). This is a MEAT serving pace, claiming great burgers. Perhaps you don’t know that meat is served with a variety of temperatures – rare, medium rare, medium, and so on. When taking our orders, he never once asked how we wanted the burgers cooked. (I actually asked for a rare burger, but since I was seated in that horrible corner chair, he never heard me!) There are a dozen different burger toppings – with the constant pressure of this server, we never did get a chance to read, understand, discuss, and order the different toppings – we just took them as they were delivered. There are also a variety of French fries, each of which sounded very interesting. We never did get him to hear that we wanted a plate of each kind. I asked for a side salad. THAT he heard. What I got was sliced iceberg lettuce on a plate. No dressing, no tomato, no onion - nothing else. ALL burgers are quite large, look great, were all cooked medium, and had zero seasoning. None! Not even a touch of salt. A grilled medium-cooked burger with no seasoning looks great – and is tasteless. And this is a famous burger place? We each had our burger with French fries, and on the table are tiny packets of ketchup. We promptly ran out. I asked for more ketchup. Nothing came. (If I wasn’t locked into my corner seat, I would have found some myself!) I had to ask three (3) different times for more ketchup, and more tiny packets finally showed up. How about a bottle or two? During dinner, I asked for another round of drinks. Of the 4 on the table, he brought 2! The good part is that the interior is beautiful, all dark wood, nicely decorated, and quite charming. From the street through the huge windows, and when inside, it really is cozy and peasant to look at. Enjoy a beer – there are many - just don’t bother to eat there. Well, that’s enough for this letter. We will not return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chili Cheese Nuggets, Chicken Tenders, Cheese Sticks

Caro Brian Opert, Probabilmente ha sbagliato ad inviare la lettera aperta perché invece di inviarla ad un forum, o sulla nostra pagina o al nostro indirizzo e-mail, l’ha pubblicata su tutti i siti per le recensioni. Onestamente in sette anni non ci era mai capitato di avere come cliente una persona irascibile e scostumata come lei. Tralasciando alcune ricostruzioni puramente fantasiose e facendo finta che siano tutte vere, il modo in cui lei si è comportato con il nostro staff sarebbe meritevole di analisi specialistica. Non siamo però qualificati in questo campo e ci limitiamo a concordare con lei che, sebbene di fronte agli errori siamo sempre motivati a far meglio, con lei ci limitiamo ad augurarci che tenga fede alle sue parole e che non torni più a trovarci.
