Esperienza culinaria da fare assolutamente. Un ristorante raffinatissimo, dove l'arredamento e i dettagli sono curati nei minimi particolari. Ambiente caloroso con Daniele che ti fa sentire a casa con il suo sorriso, la cortesia e la disponibilità. I piatti sono prelibati e di qualità assoluta. Colori, odori e sapori ben equilibrati per ogni pietanza. Il dessert squisito. Tutto era buono accompagnato da un ottimo rosso consigliato da Daniele. Il personale in sala era disponibile, attento e sempre con il sorriso che denota un clima sereno a lavoro. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Zero stars here, if it were possible. We research restaurants quite thoroughly, particularly when traveling to unknown cities. We were looking forward to a lovely meal here, given the reviews. Unfortunately, it was anything but...mostly because we were never even served. We arrived at L’Auberge Du Chateau well beyond their opening dinner hour (we arrived a bit after 6 p.m.) Upon arrival, we observed that the tables outside (of which there were many...we counted well over 59 open chairs) were mostly empty, although a couple of folks were seated and clearly dining and/or enjoying drinks. The indoor tables were completely vacant. My husband approached an employee to inquire about seating. The waiter asked if we had a reservation. Being a bit surprised by the question, considering the relative emptiness of the venue, my husband said that we did not have reservations. He was abruptly told by the employee, “Five minutes.” We proceeded to stand by pretending to examine politely the menu while multiple employees walked by us and, on occasion, gave a glance. Another couple showed up, sat down (maybe they had reservations?), and they were promptly descended upon by the host and waiters. We continued to stand at the “entrance” waiting for service or even acknowledgement. After close to 30 minutes of being ignored, my husband, teenage daughter, and I quietly left in disgust. We travel internationally quite often and are always treated well. We are not slovenly folks, and I think we tend to make a good impression for the most part ( we were dressed smartly casual in summer dresses and pressed khakis.) We do not lack for funds. Yet, I never been made to feel like such an undeservingly-dubbed uncouth American. L’Auberge Du Chateau changed this paradigm. I hope this restaurant never treats fellow Americans in the manner we were treated this evening.
