Great experience with the owner – absolutely wonderful in several languages and super accommodating for families. The food is terrific. However, we had one terrible interaction with a waiter who was consistently rude. We arrived at 1 PM on a Wednesday when the restaurant was empty. He almost turned us away because we didn’t have a reservation which we totally understood – reservation culture is big in this area. But then he accepted our party and consistently made rude remarks to us. He was very disrespectful to me when I tried to order on my children’s behalf (they were at another table and couldn’t read the French menu, plus this guy was already acting like a tool), even going to the lengths of saying he was sad for them. He then asked my husband if perhaps his wife (me) should order for him too. I have worked in fine dining restaurants for 10 years. This guy was an jerk and we should have walked out at the start. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Price per person: CHF 30–40
