What a brilliant restaurant, tucked away in a narrow path, away from the tourist traps. Most excellent food, great selection of fish, vegetarian and meat dishes at reasonable prices, even cheaper than any place along the harbour. This restaurant is going places! I recommend to book on Friday and Saturday. Friendly service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cauliflower Steak

Delicious food - excellent presentation AND more importantly such flavour BOMBS. Everything was yummy and they had vegetarian options as well - which were also DELICIOUS. From the first moment I entered Artičoka I fell in love with this restaurant: the perfect minimalist restoration, the spartan and elegant furnishings, the use of greys, the combination of polished stone, metal and wood. The owner was super kind and attentive, I drank an excellent artichoke-based cocktail, I tasted the homemade focaccia soaked in the olive oil with strong metallic and slightly spicy hints that they produce themselves... fantastic! And the best was yet to come: the risotto with aubergine cream, scallops and pork rind crumble I managed to combine two iconic Istrian ingredients, seafood and pork, in a combination that could have been risky and instead it was perfect. I left happy, satisfied. Definitely the best restaurant I discovered in 2023. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
