La Basel Badischer Bahnhof è una grande attrazione per i turisti che vengono a mangiare in questo ristorante dopo lunghe camminate. La cucina indiana sotto la direzione del grande chef è notevolissima in questo posto. Lo chef di questo locale propone ottimi pollo al curry, pollo piccante e masala dosa. Ti saranno proposti un fantastico caffè.

The food itself was good, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing due to the service and cleanliness. We visited on 02.03.2026 (dinner around 09:00 PM) and were welcomed by a very rude and unfriendly female staff member. When we asked if we could have a table, her attitude and expression made us feel unwelcome, as if our visit was an inconvenience. The food was served without serving spoons. When we requested them, the female staff member went inside and spent some time drinking her Coca-Cola before eventually bringing only two spoons. She placed them on our plates in a very rude manner, which made us feel disrespected. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also a major concern. We were there with our dog, and there were many bones on the floor that our dog kept trying to eat, which was unhygienic and unsafe. One of the dishes we ordered was lamb Biryani, but it was served completely cold. We had to request that it be warmed up before we could eat it. Although the food was good, the poor service, unfriendly attitude, and lack of cleanliness made the overall experience unpleasant. Unfortunately, we would not return. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Last week, our family had a wonderful dining experience at Anjappar in Basel. The food quality was excellent, with authentic flavors that we truly enjoyed. My kids especially loved the Anjappar meals and dosai. The manager was very kind and made sure our family was well taken care of. Worth to visit Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Food was ok. Service was very nice and friendly. We ordered spicy Tikka Masala but it only comes in medium spicy which was not very spicy at all. The veggie platter was a series of small sauces with rice. Unfortunately the back patio or garden is not set up after lunch on Sunday and everything looked as if it needed to cleaner. It’s not great value at $30-40. Across the street from the DB train station so not much street ambience out front. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
