I'm not sure if a) our server was just having a bad day, or b) she has a general dislike of tourists, or c) she doesn't like serving larger groups? We made a group reservation for 10, and things started ok with drink orders, but it rapidly went downhill from there. After serving our drinks she literally took orders from every other patron in the restaurant and served their food before coming back to take our orders, which wasted about 30 minutes. After another 30 minutes we started receiving our food in peace meal fashion. Finally, when several folks from our party asked to see a dessert menu, she basically threw them on the table. The sad part about this is that the food is actually pretty good, but the overall unfriendly service will ensure that this was a one and done visit. Service: 1

Had dinner here at the RostiHouse, it was such an authentic Swiss experience. Incredible food (I had the Gemuse Rosti and my husband the Walliser Rosti!), great Swiss music and friendly hosts. I only wish we were here for their live traditional music experiences. Cannot recommend enough. GO HERE if you want real Swiss food at a reasonable price.

We had dinner at Hotel Alpenblick, a traditional swiss restaurant and 'Beiz'. Cozy place to sit and enjoy a beer or have dinner. Unfortunately the rösti was not to our liking as it seemed to be more cheese than 'rösti' (potatoes). The Macaroni 'Älplermacrone' were okay. The staff and atmosphere was good. Service: 4
