I absolutely recommend Albert & Frida! The hotel is beautifully situated near the river Aare just adjacent to the town center and thus within walking distance from all you may want to view while in Bern. The staff is amazingly friendly and the rooms are clean, cozy and have a unique ambience to them. You can tell that the people love what they are doing. Moreover, they really attune to your needs - even if they are special ones. For technical reasons, I accidentally booked my stay for an incorrect date. Even though it was my mistake and they could easily have just shrugged their shoulders, they not only waived one of the payments - they waived the more expensive one!! So I ended up spending less for a more luxurious room... A totally unexpected and exceptional courtesy!! Thank you, Albert and Frida! Will certainly be back!

Totally recommended, the attention is ideal, very friendly (but very very friendly) the super romantic room, with views of the church and the river. The room is large and renovated but preserving its essence, the house belonged to several previous generations of the boys who manage the hotel, in it we see photos of the family that were formerly farmers and if you ask them for the photos they tell you a little about the story of the family. In the morning they have prepared a rich and ecological breakfast for you and with a great variety (various toasts, homemade pastries, jams, mueslis and cereals, organic milk and fruits) we will repeat in this 100% safe hotel.
