My mum and I had the most wonderful long weekend at Albergo Villa Marta, and we will remember it forever. The hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful spot, surrounded by olive groves, countryside and mountains in the background. Our room was cosy and charming with exposed wooden beams, and the whole place was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was such a treat. We ate homemade pastries, fruit and freshly baked bread. Roberto looked after us every morning with such kindness and genuine warmth, always making sure we had everything we needed and greeting us with the biggest smile. After breakfast we would take our coffees out into the garden and sit in the sunshine, surrounded by flowers and bird songs. It was such a simple pleasure but one of the things we loved the most. The restaurant team were also amazing, recommending perfect wines to go with our meals and making us feel at home every evening. The food was delicious, and the care they put into everything really made our experience special. The location is great too, with easy access to Lucca and Pisa. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the people. Every staff member was so warm and genuinely cared about making our visit amazing. This really is a hidden gem. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. Service: 5
