Io e le mie figlie eravamo alla ricerca di un posticino tranquillo e poco turistico dove fermarci a pranzo, impresa ardua a Venezia, ma ce l'abbiamo fatta. Questo è un posto incantevole, il cibo è buono e i prezzi sono in linea con l'offerta. Il personale è cortese e gentile, e Roberto (non ho letto il tuo nome sulla carta, ma ho letto le altre recensioni e do per scontato che sia questo) è un valore aggiunto!torneremo sicuramente. We had an excellent meal at Al Vecio Marangon last night. We hadn’t booked but after a short wait the friendly staff found us a table. We sat indoors and the atmosphere was cosy and intimate - it was wonderful. Lots of families, couples and friends enjoying company and excellent food. Having struggled with finding good vegetarian options in Venice the choice here was incredible, I think there were 11 dishes to choose from. The aubergine parmigiana is the best I’ve ever had, the purple gnocchi was rich and sumptuous, the spinach and ricotta cannelloni were light and fluffy - my son had the chocolate and pear torte for dessert which was the perfect end to the night. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Excellent choice of pasta, gnocchi, salads and cooked vegetables and the Aubergine Parmigiana which was the best we have ever tasted, perfect balance of sauce, cheese and perfectly cooked aubergine.
