High above the town of Arco, the castle lies on a mighty rock, visible from afar in all directions. And just as you reach the Castell, namely via a steep climb from the historic center, you also reach the Bar al Castello on the same path. You can't miss it, past the ticket booth for the castle and towards a large, lush meadow. The bar is actually just a kiosk with outdoor seating, but a phenomenal view of Arco and the surrounding mountains towards Lake Garda. Here you can sit comfortably under parasols, watch the scenery and recover from the 20-minute climb. We were lucky enough to be able to observe a painter who was working on two pictures at his work. Before you go: Don't forget to use or at least look at the toilet counter. The spaceliest and weirdest thing I've seen up to that point (high-tech). We enjoyed our time at the bar so much that we gave ourselves the opportunity to visit the castle. A must!
