I truly believe it is the best sushi you can get in the Zug area. I don’t get some reviews complaining about the quality, which is superb and fresh, and the prices, which are in accordance to the great products cooked/provided. I am an usual customer since years now and I miss it when I don’t order or go for a long time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve enjoyed the food here, it is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is pleasant, though the interior feels a little dated and could benefit from a refresh. Softer lighting etc.. The staff are generally attentive and kind, I found the main waiter’s approach a bit abrupt, especially when correcting language mistakes. A friendlier, more patient attitude would make interactions feel more welcoming for guests. Reply to owners response: I think it's important to highlight unprofessionalism but your defensive and condescending public response to my review did this for me. Thank you. Well done for the unnecessary résumé of their waiter. Nobody cares. People spend money on food and atmosphere, and wish to be treated with politeness. My original review was intended as balanced and constructive. I highlighted that the food was fresh and enjoyable, and only mentioned a small service moment that felt a bit less welcoming. I believe guest feedback, especially polite, balanced feedback, deserves to be received with openness rather than sarcasm. It’s unfortunate, because I used to recommend your restaurant to friends and visitors of Zug and I personally have eaten here probably a dozen times, I will no longer do so. There are many other great Sushi restaurants in town, who don't charge ridiculous prices. I hope future feedback from guests will be met with a little more grace and professionalism. Our 250 m² restaurant is one of the largest Japanese dining spaces in Zug, supported by many loyal guests who value genuine craftsmanship over quick impressions.Regarding your comment about our service: Michele, our service Staff, has worked in this location for 24 years — 9 years with Aki Sushi and 15 years in the previous Italian restaurant. He is well known and trusted by our regular guests and neighbors for his professionalism and warm character. Judging his approach after a single visit — especially one accompanied by tap water — might not fully capture who he is. As for the interior, a full renovation of this scale would require an investment of over one million Swiss francs.
