Agriturismo Borgo Piazza è vicinissimo al Museo e Parco Archeologico Nazionale di Scolacium. In questo ristorante, gli ospiti possono avere delle crostate ineguagliabili. Diversi ospiti dicono che qui viene servito un plum cake ottimo. I clienti non apprezzano molto il vino del ristorante Agriturismo Borgo Piazza.

I had the pleasure of staying at Agriturismo Borgo Piazza for a week and would like to share my honest opinion. The location of this agriturismo is undoubtedly beautiful and surrounded by a large area. The rooms are simple but very clean, which is important to me personally. A highlight of the agriturismo is undoubtedly the garden, which is filled with many trees. There were even some nice hammocks and a very well-kept swimming pool. I was expecting to be pampered with the fresh ingredients from the garden, which unfortunately wasn't the case. This was a disappointment to me as I was hoping to get a glimpse into the family's life and their products. What was particularly disappointing is the fact that each additional product at breakfast (although booked inclusive) has to be paid for separately. If you want to eat something in addition to breakfast, such as ham or cheese, you have to pay extra. Breakfast is available from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. If you arrive at 9 a.m. you almost feel like a troublemaker, especially when you have to cook lunch for guests coming from out of town. Unfortunately, this spoiled the overall experience. You have to announce yourself for dinner, which is not a problem in my opinion. However, we were immediately informed that nothing would be cooked fresh and that we could “only” expect a warmed eggplant dish. For €15 per person we were then brought 3 small slices of something gratinated. So we only had dinner there once. Overall my experience at Agriturismo Borgo Piazza was not what I expected. In my opinion, the misunderstandings about the included services and the expectations of guests could be better communicated. I hope that this will be improved in the future so that future guests can have a more complete and pleasant experience. Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 5

We're really sorry we didn't have the chance. Furthermore, during the days of your stay you were the only guests of the structure, and we could have satisfied your every wish even more. As regards breakfast, our regulation is very transparent, and you can find it on the website as well as, above all, on the booking file in your possession well before check in, where everything is very detailed; you don't find anywhere that the savory breakfast is included in the price, but you find exactly the opposite, that is, that the standard breakfast included in the price you paid is the "Italian" one, not savory, which includes tarts and other homemade desserts , croissants, bread made with our flours, fresh fruit from the estate, yoghurt, home made juices and jams. You will also always find on your file that the savory-continental breakfast has a declared extra cost, which is what you were charged. Furthermore, still regarding breakfast, perhaps it is worth remembering that you stayed more than once well after closing time (and always arriving well after 9). Regarding dinner here too we don't quite understand your dissatisfaction, and you make an unfair story that we don't deserve: you had a lunch (the day after arrival), which you don't mention, in which in addition to having eaten a nice fried fresh fish, you were served other dishes prepared with products from our garden; it is no coincidence that the next day you returned for dinner, in which you ate not "3 slices of something au gratin" as you say, but 2 very generous portions of freshly stuffed aubergines of the day (a typical dish of our restaurant), with a side dish of salad, lemon juice from the Borgo, water and beers. We believe that €15 per person is a fair price for what you were served (among other things, making a significant discount to meet your request to spend little and have the room all to yourself.)
